Aware and proud of living in a city and in an area so full of wonders, we could not fail to organize ourselves to give our customers the opportunity to enjoy such beauty.
And it is for this reason that we have decided to organize tours that leave from our hotel to visit not only the city of Sassari but all the most beautiful places, in the company of professional tourist guides of Sardinia, who will accompany us in the discovery of these wonders.
A walk in Medieval Sassari
Starting from the hotel, we will walk along via del Corso and we will reach Piazza Sant’Antonio. We will walk to Corso Trinità up to the Rosello Fountain. Skirting the Civic Market, then we will reach the Cathedral of San Nicola. Passing through via Turritana, via Canopolo, the Corso, Piazza Azuni, we will reach the end of this historic walk that will bring us to Piazza Castello and to see the remains of the Aragonese castle.
Itinerary: Sassari - Castelsardo - Sedini
Starting from the Hotel Vittorio Emanuele we will arrive at the beautiful village of Castelsardo, to visit its historic center, with its “Museum of Mediterranean Weaving” and the Cathedral of Sant’Antonio.
A delicious fish and shellfish lunch will follow later on. In the afternoon we will have a visit to the “Elephant’s Rock”.
From there we will then leave for Sedini to go and see the “Museum of Domus de Janas”.
Itinerary: Sassari - S.Maria La Palma - Alghero
Starting from the Hotel Vittorio Emanuele we will head towards the wonderful “Coral Coast”.
We will take a guided tour of the prehistoric hypogean necropolis of Anghelu Ruju, followed by a visit to the Santa Maria La Palma winery with a tasting of excellent wines and local products. After the tasting, a guided tour of the Nuragic complex of Palmavera. Then, when we arrive in Alghero, we’ll have lunch at the “Nautilus” restaurant and after that a free walk through the Bastions and the historic center with a visit to the “Coral Museum”.
Itinerary: Sassari - Stintino - Isola dell'Asinara
Starting from the Hotel Vittorio Emanuele we will arrive in Stintino and embark for the Asinara Island. After disembarking there will be a meeting with the park’s exclusive guide and a fascinating off-road excursion. Then, a guided tour of the Asinara National Park will follow. After a good packed lunch on the beach and a nice free swim, we will go to visit the structures of the infamous former prison.
